Caring with compassion is foundational to nursing! I see it as a privilege to work in a field where I can make a difference in someone’s life at the moment they need it most – when they’re most vulnerable physically, emotionally, and mentally, that is my “why” for becoming a nurse. My experiences include primary care nursing, correctional nursing, triage, acute hemodialysis, and now ambulatory care management. I am passionate about helping patients understand their disease process to make informed decisions, motivate healthy behaviors and promote compliance with medical treatment plans to achieving the best possible health outcomes. That in a nutshell is the role of the ambulatory care manager, striving to help patients overcome barriers and improve health outcomes.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 children. You will likely find us on a soccer field at any given time!
